What is the Chocolate Sunday Showcase?
As you may know, Windy City Open Mic is more than just a place to host Chicago’s best Open Mic. In addition we book shows all over the city at new and exciting venues. Sundays seemed to be missing something, especially on those lazy afternoons when you want to do something, but not too much. And “Chocolate” is always something to consider. So we decided to combine two wonderful past times, the love of chocolate and live acoustic music. So was born, the “Chocolate Sunday Showcase”.
Each and every Sunday (with a few holiday exceptions) you can stop in and enjoy live singer/songwriters in a wonderful atmosphere and enjoy some of the city’s finest chocolate, gelato, coffees and of course cocoa! And bring your laptop, sit back, connect to the free wi-fi and enjoy the sounds of amazing local artists as well as an occasional touring guest performer.
